Maldita.es and JCDecaux join forces to raise awareness about the use of masks with 5,000 posters in 55 Spanish cities

Maldita.es and JCDecaux have reached an agreement to use 5,000 outdoor advertising spaces in more than 55 municipalities in Spain in a campaign to raise awareness about the incorrect use of masks.

The campaign has been designed by the damn ‘Yo, Doctor’, doctors and illustrators, who donate their superpowers to Maldita.es in the form of cartoons to warn about medical concerns.

At Maldita.es we have spent 5 months dedicated to fighting disinformation related to the COVID-19 pandemic and disseminating scientific information in multiple formats online, on television and radio. This alliance with JCDecaux, in which the company provides advertising spaces free of charge and voluntarily, is part of the efforts to deliver verified information so that the population can make informed decisions.

This alliance has been facilitated by the Ashoka Foundation, of which Clara Jiménez Cruz has been a fellow as a social entrepreneur since 2019.
