We are launching a new edition of this Master’s program with the aim of training competitive professionals in new journalistic narratives and in the innovation of digital news formats and products; a present in which we must commit to journalism as a public service for citizens.
Our program seeks excellence in the use of investigative techniques, fact-checking, and transparency, and aims to train professionals for a new present in which, as a society and as journalists, we face new challenges: the fight against disinformation and the need for public-service journalism that does not remain on the surface, but instead investigates and explains reality to citizens with data.
In this edition we offer financial aid for tuition, covering up to 50% of the fee, as well as additional support for students from Latin America. Pre-register as soon as possible. PLACES ARE LIMITED.
By taking this Master’s program you will:

Learn about trend analysis and data visualization tools, and develop practical projects in which you will produce journalistic pieces applying investigative journalism methodologies and fact-checking processes.

Specialize in socially responsible journalism that contributes to building an informed society.

Identify the range of technical and technological solutions that can be applied to the creation of data-driven communication products.

Carry out practical work and case studies in which you will learn how to submit transparency requests to national and international public institutions.

Deepen your knowledge of media literacy and technological tools to help create a safer digital ecosystem free of hoaxes and disinformation.

Gain experience in digital storytelling, creating new interactive news narratives and using audiovisual technologies to tell stories. In short, you will prepare yourself and acquire the tools needed to face your professional future with confidence.
The Master’s program also includes mandatory paid internships in media organizations such as elDiario.es, Servimedia, Prodigioso Volcán, Podimo, The Facto Productions, and Maldita.es, among others, allowing you to learn alongside innovative professionals and develop your professional career.
